We investigated how people have different likes and dislikes 

In inquiry we also researched some of the different pizza companies.

We made one of our own.

We made 3/4 test pizza we scored them looks and taste.

We decided on our ultimate pizza

My group and the bad boys pizza place tied for fourth place. We had 4 slices left.

What I know about tenths

I know to write it as a fraction, I know how to write decimals and percentages, I know how to draw tenths, I know how to do equivalent fractions for one tenth.

I am working on understanding hundredths.

Spring fling

Rugby league t4

On Saturday it was our last game of rugby league. I was driving there with Baxter, my mum, dad and my brother. When we got to bill  Mathewson park at nine o'clock we started training with our team.

We did some running and sprints.

Finally it was time for the game we were facing Mac. We kicked off and the game was on first Mac got it but got tackled six times and had to hand the ball over. But I eventually got the ball and scored!! And I got some really good tackles. But the whole team did. But i got the ball again I ran and ran and ran and I scored again!!!!!!!!! And then Baxter made a crunching tackle on a Mac person. Then i got the ball for the last time and guess what... I scored again!!!!

The parents started to cheer and clap I felt realllllly proud and happy of myself. I can't wait till next year.

Term 3 : gymnastics

In reading we have been using the 'Notability'app to learn about 'inquiry' topic; the planets. First we photographed the text. Then we read it with our reading buddy. When had finished reading, we highlighted words we didn't know or weren't sure about.

In class we talked about our highlighted ideas and worked out there meanings. Sometimes we did a study or some research into one of the questions we came up with. Here are some examples

We presented our project to the class; we did a poster.

An interesting fact is Neptune has nine moons.
